This video wraps up the organization's medical mission to Recife, Brazil, with the "patient parade" to celebrate all of the people who received knee replacement surgery during the week. It was a festive, yet emotional event that brought together the large local hospital staff with the Operation Walk Chicago team of surgeons, physicians, nurses and assorted volunteers to commemorate the effort that went into making this a successful trip. While this video was all shot on site, I was only able to complete the editing after returning home to Chicago since we were departing that afternoon. This concluded my second trip with Operation Walk Chicago, and I look forward to more opportunities to join them in the near future. Their next trip is in February 2020 to Nepal, and I am hoping to be with them for that adventure.
