I'm excited to announce that I've been asked to join with Operation Walk Chicago on the group's next medical mission to Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) from May 25 - June 2 of this year. A team of almost 40 physicians, nurses, techs and support staff from the U.S. will travel to Military Hospital 175 and perform a variety of orthopedic exams, treatments, and procedures.
My role will be to shoot and edit video footage throughout the week and then to post videos on a daily basis to the group's website and Facebook page. I'm delighted to help and really look forward to this unique and challenging adventure...certainly not a typical corporate video project. I'll provide more updates as I get closer to departure.
My thanks to Dr. Vicky Brander, who is the co-founder of Operation Walk Chicago, for asking me to participate. More info on Dr. Vicky to come, BTW, as we are already working together on building content for a new YouTube channel on assorted healthcare issues. She's doing a great job, and I'm anxious to get the channel off the ground in the coming weeks as she launches her new practice on Michigan Ave. in Chicago.
I believe the channel will appeal to a wide range of people who are always looking for valid, updated information on the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of common conditions related to back pain, arthritis, joint pain, and all types of musculoskeletal issues. Not only is Dr. Vicky especially qualified to talk to those conditions, but she's a wonderful communicator whose warm and friendly personality will resonate with just about anyone.
